I had two essays come out recently,

• “The Oft-Humbled Eunuch Is Once More, On the Subject of Desire, Humbled, Again” — after a few thousand words of interpolating Hegel’s Phenomenology and my idea of what the the movie Saw is like (never seen), I share some thoughts about sexual violence.

• “Listen to Your Heart” — Back in January, I watched the phenomenal movie Chronicle of a Disappearance and wrote this short thing trying to distill some thoughts about solidarity and Gaza.

I also am in a Substack reality TV show, for the right reasons, and I know what you’re thinking:
